Are you looking at me?by ciaeagleComment: Very nice. A slight change in the crop, but very nice.
You are lucky to have lots of them in your garden. Bees are seriously endangered all over the world. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it sadly is true :-(. |

The Stareby IAmEliKatzComment: I like this a lot. I don't think I have a clue how you did this, but I like it :-) |

What?by pmichaudComment: Also much prefer this as an overall shot, but I do like the other one for the subject. This is a more ... "common" (?) picture, but the technical side is better (IMO). |

In and Around Balboa Park Week 12 - Casa del Pradoby AnnComment: What a lovely building and to think that this was originally built just to be torn down again!
I have a photographic question though, and I think I will start it as a forum thread: when and how much do you or should you change/straighten the perspective on achitectual images?
Just curious, because to me this angle portraits an imposing building and of great height of the facade. I am sure a "straightened" picture would not convey that as well. |

Man With Catby pmichaudComment: I think the subject is wonderful. I don't like the overexposed forhead (at least it looks overexposed to me), and the hand also seems to lack detail. A shame, because I think this could be a great image. |

12/52 - big yellow shirtby mitalapoComment: Very nice setting and great use of color.
My only comment would be to have had the light hit more of the child's face (i.e coming from the front more to get into the hood). But lovely picture ... as a mum I would be terrified that he falls on/down those hard steps :-(, but as a photographer I think the setting is great :-) |
