red light kissby maccoComment: Very bright for sure. The sharpest areas need to be much sharper. |

Scram! On Its Way!by docpjvComment: Is this some kind of amoeba or jellyfish? Looks as if it was hard to capture. Could you crop most of the thing in the lower left out and then burn out the bit of rim that's left? I think the other shape is strong enough to carry the frame. |

In Stitchesby tfarrell23Comment: I like the perspective, composition, and idea of this very much -- focusing on the red stitches and picking up that color in the background was a good idea. I do not care for the processing -- very overdone or over-sharpened or something. |

Slim Pickingsby MaryOComment: I like the title and tones and usually like this sort of shot. I think the background could have been even softer or maybe just less busy -- maybe if you had been able to pull this branch forward from it a bit? I also think taking maybe 1/4 to 1/3 off the top would have helped focus our attention on the subject. |

RadioFlyerby bspurgeonComment: Having trouble with the "red" part here though since I know a RadioFlyer wagon is red, I'm using my imagination. Maybe I'm just too literal minded LOL |

Sauteed Cherry Tomatoes with Garlic and Black Pepper.by mrbig65Comment: I would like to see an area of excellent, sharp focus and more contrast between the sharp and soft areas. Interesting that the green tops, now black, were left on during the cooking process. For me a food shot should be appetizing and this one is not particularly. |

*pips*by nickybComment: Pomegranate seeds? Makes a kind of interesting abstract but there is no really sharp area to draw me in. While I don't usually need a frame, I like it here. |

Flowerby WriteHeartComment: This is very dark on my monitor and the center detail which I am sure is very nice is all but lost. Not much in the way of selective focus, either, except the stem. Red and black are good together so the background choice is good imo. |

Une Fraiseby CuttoothComment: I think you sliced this strawberry but because of the softness, it just looks a bit deformed. I also think the tones of the background are not that appetizing. |
