The Power of Controlby Alex_PetriniComment: Well posed and framed. I like the lighting and the range of tones. The direct gaze is compelling. The image speaks of power and control. |

receivingby tnunComment: I do not understand the personality or character quality of "receiving", but from the pose and some meanings associated with the word, I think she is a good listener? accepting? understanding? The subject herself is too dark for me and the composition is not particularly effective. |

doggie daddyby skewsmeComment: Nice tones, focus on dog is good. This image is more about the dog (very cute) than the owner which is a minus for the challenge IMO. |

Grandpa's Prayer Notesby MrJearComment: I especially like the very out of focus crucifix in the background here. One of the few without a person in it and since that was explicitly allowed, a plus from me. I might have used an adjective such as "Faith-filled" or "Prayerful" as the title with "Grandpa's Prayer Notes" in parentheses, kind of like a subtitle. |

Little Destroyerby etkgocComment: I am thinking s/he just dropped something? It actually just looks like an icicle? Would love to see an expression to go with this one. |

Confidanteby neenee1999Comment: Not sure the sideways look here works that well with the title which to means a dear friend I can really trust. For that, I might prefer a more direct perspective. The skin is over-processed for my taste, too. I do like the position in the frame and the crop. |

Poet Choli by wei1108Comment: I like the candid look to this whether it was or not. Wish his features, especially his eyes, were lighter. I think that would give better balance to the image which, as it stands, almost seems more about the cigarette than the man. Maybe you could have titled it "Smoker"? |

Smiling Eyes.by Dirt_DiverComment: A real cutie, the colors are my favorite combination -- yellow or golden brown and blue, love it! -- and the eyes, though over-done for my taste, do jump out at the viewer. |
