Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. The focus on that centered triangle of leaf just above the mid point horizontally is excellent. Wish the bottom was as sharp and more importantly I find the upper right corner very distracting. I don't often use a square crop but here's an image I would consider one for; lose the right third and a bit off the top and see what you think.

For me it would be nice to have better focus on the foreground leaves which are very interesting and no distractions in the background. I like the diagonal leaves of the plant behind but not the out of focus leaves beyond them in the left and right upper corners.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. The blues and greens are pretty together. The detail is not particularly good - for me the green row across the middle ought to be in focus, especially for this challenge. It's also kind of a jumble.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. Nice detail - I needed the title to tell me it's a carnivore. I might have preferred a perspective that showed the jaws more clearly. The green seems off, too, but perhaps that is the lighting.

Red and green are very eye-catching, but here the red overpowers the green subject. I find the leaf tip in the upper left distracting.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. I would have liked better focus on the subject and a softer background so it would stand out better. The softer background may have been impossible given the distance between the background leaves and cluster, but getting excellent focus on the nearest "berry" would have helped a lot.
