Very cool result - not sure who is watching whom. I especially like that though the dog is dominant in terms of focus and tones, it's impossible to ignore that watching eye!

My favorite - a piece of art in my eyes. I love the lines, shapes, and colors and the fact that this is about much more than design elements (which would actually be enough for me :) ). This one is moody and has me asking all kinds of questions. What are these spaces - the one on the left that somehow looks inviting (is it the door ajar?) and unwelcoming (because of the single stool - like a time out corner) at once? the one on the right that slides off into nothing?

I see many little faces here - the two that are most distinct for me are in the center. One is a very fat face, so fat that the plump cheeks threaten to obliterate the eyes, already nothing but slits. The other, to the left of it as we are looking at the image and a bit higher in the frame, is as long and lean as the other is squat; not sure what he's looking at, but now I know what "looking askance" at something means. I am reminded of Jack Spratt and his wife.

My resolution is similar though a bit more restricted as I thought to force myself outside in what, to me, is the least pleasant month of the year. I have no sense of scale when looking at this - which is not a criticism but rather a compliment. I feel as if that hole is opening up to swallow that miniature town and all that is in it.

Wonderful combination of textures and tones. I love the unexpected starkness of the branches - which actually make me think more of a dead deer than a tree - against the warmth of the sand.
