Silenceby jmsetzlerComment: All your photos are so well composed, with tremendous attention to detail. Nothing out of place. This is no exception; the rocks in the foreground and sharp trees behind; they create a subtle harmonious backgroung to the subject. Fantastic. |

i've got a secret...by bragurComment: This is truly an awesome shot; and heres what I like about it; there isa a great amount of focus in all th eright spots, the eyeball is placed perfectly and the viewer is gravitated in a circle ending up on the pupil. The composition is further enhanced by the wrapped light blue perfectly complimentary hood; and then, the expression, which is confident and not contrived, makes this gold.
Perhaps the only criticism, if any, is the tightness of thew subject aspect, perhaps seeing a bit more blurred for persective, but then again, that is what framing and matting is for. |

End of the Roadby gurlwithapenComment: an impressionist painting; perfectly composed; desolate, fuzzy, blotchy; its got great texture to match the scene. Its, a dead end- but you make it...inviting? Robert Frost in stopping by woods on a snowy evening- type inviting. nice. |

dreamsby gurlwithapenComment: Like all great self portraits; you stare throught the viewer, with wisdom, pain perhaps, a sense of self knowledge but also an unfulfilled quality. very nice composition too. |

...with gaea...by mesmerajComment: This is a fantstic shot; wonderful cropping and texture to create a "medieval" or "at least "pre-christian" look. The pose is perfect; its reverent yet suggestive, This would be the way to "genuflect" for lack of a better term, to the pagan god: earth herself.
What really is best here, besides the perfectly orchestrated nudity, is the way the top of the photo looks like a Pollock painting, with the white from behind the trees above the figures head seems to compete with the shadow in front, always leaving the viewer with the struggle to decide which is primary and in front.
This is your best shot, its really great. |
