Unhappy Birthdayby grahamgatorComment: Intriguing idea. I think it actually would have been better without the hat and the noise maker? The placement of those looks a bit odd. However, the smoke from the candles is fascinating! It shows such movement and story. Or even cropped in to only show parts of those two? 7 for the candles and movement |

"Last Roll"by ladpupmoeComment: haha!! I don't like the processing, or the lighting, or really much of anything about the photo. It would have been a five.
But considering I was just down to my last 1/2 roll, it gave me a laugh and yet still fit the challenge, so it moved it up to a 7 |

Old and New Crockeryby BeaubeauComment: I like everything except the spoon. With placing the egg that far out to the right, it seems to interrupt the flow of how you look through the photo. If it had been turned about 150 degrees and had the egg coming out towards the left, I think it would have felt more balanced.
That being said, the rest is quite lovely!! |

Farmhouse Kitchenby US2UKComment: Lovely! I enjoy the brown tones carried throughout. Congrats on the top ten! |

Potby mefnjComment: Hmmm -- that shows a different of opinions on what fits the challenge. I'd say this is much more crockery than the white plates that took third. (I voted on the third place like it did fit the definition, even though in mind mind crockery is more earthenware.)
I'm glad when people make comments like these. It reinforces that everyone has different opinions. :)
Anyway, I love your lighting and setup on this! Simple but very effective. |

Heirloom by grahamgatorComment: I really loved this, but I wasn't sure about the arms disappearing into the background. I wish there was a hint of the figure or that it was cropped in or something. But the rest of it was lovely and even a bit haunting. |
