I actually like this, but the sugar in the background, with its different colors, draws your eye and doesn't add much. Also, the black spots on the table on the left are distracting. Also, I don't mind the cutting off the coffee cup, but cutting off the guys foot is odd. (sorry to get picky, but I think it's a really fun, quirky shot that could have been easily improved)

I like the 3 men. I'd consider cropping it down quite a bit--the top third of the picture doesn't add very much. And the spiky thing sticking out from behind the tree draws your eye away from your subject.

In each definition of still life that I've found, it says that a still life is a depiction of inanimate objects. I'm not voting until later, but this doesn't meet the classic definition of a still life. (nice picture though...)
