I gave this one an 8. It broke all the rules in a fascinating, as posthumous says, intriguing way. This should be used in photography classes on why and how to break the rules! I'll go back and give it a bluebird later this weekend!

It's an interesting photo, but the right 1/3 really doesn't add much. It's the main hair and the nice blurry mess to the left that's interesting. I think the right side detracts too much -- making it seem less interesting than it actually is.

A breath of fresh air

It's a nice portrait, but the composition seems awkward to me. There's a pole coming out of the top of her head. The roof above her and the side of the building really don't add much to the photo. I would have zoomed (or cropped) in quite a bit. The tips of her fingers around the pole look like they're not attached to anything. She has such a nice smile -- just move in so much closer to get the focus on her.
