I was one of your 8s. I really like this. It's starting, yet you can delve into it a bit. Nice lines and shapes, and I like the black taking up a lot of space. Negative space, yet inside the photo

A perfect thought for the challenge, but not a very interesting shot. 4 for the shot, 7 for the idea, round up to a 6 average since hope is a hard one

I like the idea, the treatment, the negative space, but there's still something that's getting in it's way. Perhaps it's the choice of colors for the background? I actually think it might be the white lines around the leaves making it look oversharpened? I think if it was a softer effect this would be really beautiful, but something is just jarring to me. 6 for the attempt, although I think it really is a 5 as is. I think it could have been an 8 if it came together better.

This was awesome - 8 from me and probably should have been higher. It's great fun to look around in here.

Not sure why the 4 3's. Perhaps because of the angle? (some people don't deal well with those.) I think the angle was a brilliant addition.
