Eyes of Blue, Hair of Goldby karmatComment: I really liked this shot and gave it a 7. Yes, the face is a little soft, but that works with this, and I don't think it would have been nearly as effective if it was sharper. I thought the softness was part of its charm! |

Boathouse, Cape Splitby Bear_MusicComment: I'm always afraid to comment on your photos, because you know so much more about this than I do. And I need to look into how to do gradients for sky...
anyway, I really like the shot. Love the red and love the softness of the boat. Wonderful colors, as well. AP is right - vibrant, but not artificial. It's time you start a mentor series on doing this. |

Hello!by SaraRComment: I thought this was spectacularly done!! I gave it an 8. The wide angle lens is so funny on animals, I'll have to play with it! Anyway, I think it's brilliant! And the b&w was a perfect choice. I disagree with the "needs to be sharper comment", however. I think it would be a mistake... |

First Day Outby JuliBocComment: Love the pair and love the background! The patterns really play havoc with your eyes if you're sitting to close to the screen! :P
What a wonderful scene. |

untitledby bmartuchComment: Someone commented that it lacked a focal point so that the eye wandered. I think that's the strength of this shot -- it makes you look deeper and take everything in. Not shot has to be about something specific. Sometimes it can be the sum total of everything! I like it quite a bit and enjoyed taking in the clouds, waves, rocks and letting my eye and mind wander. Well done! |

The Anatomy of an Argumentby raishComment: This was so utterly bizarre; that's what made it so interesting! It's one of those shots that made you study it. I thought it was great! |

San Giovanni Evangelista, San Polo, Veneziaby EstimatedEyesComment: I really like this, and the tourist do add quite a bit! Did you try cropping it in? When I scrolled down to enter this comment, I stopped when the sky disappeared and it just made me say "wow!!" The top part is so interesting, so I never would have thought about cropping it out, but when it scrolled off, the result was really interesting, I just had to share it.
Anyway, fun spot and wonderful capture! |

Signboardby hajekaComment: Ok, I'm saying this a lot -- this should have scored much higher. I gave it a 7 -- I think it's wonderful! Great sign, fascinating connectors, ropes, etc. And if it's a lensbaby, it's one of the few that work for me. Very well done! |
