Love the softness and editing on this. Really really beautiful. 9 from me. The only thing I’d think about changing is the crop. It seems like more space on the left would be good. Since the lily and the bottle that’s laying down point to the left, it feels like it could use a little more breathing room. Plus the extra space at the top seems to need some balancing. Really beautiful. -9-

This was a 9 from me because of the lighting. The lighting is really well done. I don’t even have any suggestions. I’d be curious what the whole bike would look like, but then I think you’d lose the great details on the handlebar tape. Beautifully done!

drat drat drat!! I forgot to vote on this one. I don't understand how this didn't do spectacularly well. I think it's brilliant. I'm looking at it on my phone, so it may change looking at it on my monitor. But I absolutely love it. It would have been a 10 from me. I can hardly wait to see it on a larger screen.

ants on a mission

I saw ant hills up at the park and thought about doing those. I think this just didn't say "hole" to people. Perhaps if you had lightened the shadows a bit to see the ants that were entering the hole, it might have helped?
I forgot to vote on this. :(

I probably would have given it a 6, since it did seem to be more about the ants than the hole.

Interesting... I'm not quite understanding the focus in this. It seems like the oof right eye (his) is pretty much the same plane as the left that's in focus? Yet that's a little soft feeling at times? The hyper sharp hair is interesting. My first feeling was around a 6, because the of the right eye distractingly oof, the blown highlights on the face, etc. But it's rather mesmerizing. For some reason it's reminding me of one of Van Gogh's self portraits. -8- for making me think
