un-PASTURE-izedby autoolComment: Wonderful scene I've seen many times since I was a baby (I'm a N. California native). I'm pretty sure those are Holsteins; the most popular breed of dairy cattle in California. These young cattle are "heifers" (not cows), and don't have large udders or begin to produce milk until they've become pregnant.
I agree more contrast might make a "prettier" picture, but as you have it is probably about how it "really" looked. Sorry it didn't finish higher. |

Shapes, Color, and ... Pie?!by indigo997Comment: I don't recall seeing anyone use a knit tablecloth before. Using a solid color instead of a pattern would probably allowed you to save at a higher-quality JPEG and eliminate some of the other (slight) artifacting.
Pretty good job handling the white on white. |

Come Inby justineComment: To me the photo says "keep out" more than come in...I like the variety of textures. I'd maybe want to try higher contrast just to see how it would work, but it might make it too stark. |

Windows & Doorby bcncrazyComment: All the odd angles and shapes give this an Escher-like feel...maybe you should try it in an exaggerated grayscale version as well. |
