Dance of the Gummi Bearsby DougPazComment: Maybe it would have been more "convincing" had you stood them up, like viewing a square dance from obliquely above. We needn't see all of them face-on.
Despite your note, I have a suspicion some bears were harmed AFTER the making of this shot... |

Welcome to the Sunshine Stateby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: Originally posted by inspzil: Greetings from the Critique Club

Composition - The branches frame this shot in beautifully. I question the framing of this picture in general. I think a landscape shot would be more advantageous to show a little more of the landscape and a little less of the clouds at the top of the frame... |
I think in the context of THIS challenge it was a good idea to include the differently-colored clouds at the top, even though a panoramic crop might make a better "sunset" picture overall.
Did you know you can completely re-crop the version you post for printing? Customers will see a new preview generated from the printable file. It can still be associated with your entry, even if considerably adapted... |

Winds of Change Over Baghdadby magnetic9999Comment: I shoot lots of pictures while I'm driving around too. My camera won't go to 1/4000 though...
We took a somewhat similar approach to interpreting the challenge this week, but I shot mine out the car window while at a stoplight -- my sunroof leaks and is taped closed! |

cloud opening by deceptiveComment: Good job bringing out the rays...I'd be curious to see the unadjusted shot (unless this is it!). |

Perfect Postcard Weatherby KazComment: I concur with your title...I think for a postcard crop you need to take a little off the bottom, top, or both...but that's just an estimation. |
