Spirit of Hamleinby KoriyamaComment: And I just bought a cheap soprano recorder last week -- before I saw this. Good idea and composition. Is the background fabric? I like the overall graininess, but something in the texture isn't quite right for me -- I think I'm expecting a "pebbly" texture as from stucco or plaster. |

Five O'Clock Shadowby RefocusedComment: If you set up a cradle to reposition your head each time, you have a good set-up for and interesting and/or funny time-lapse sequence. If you could hold out a few days you'd get a nice "werewolf" transformation effect. |

Mortar and Pestelby orussellComment: I agree with the comments about the nice lighting and texture. I also think it a bit odd to have a subject with a "heavy feel" floating in the middle; I think you can have the same amount of black space but with the mortar sitting down near the bottom. |

INRIby jaclkal98Comment: I'm not usually that partial to Christian symbology, but this challenge was a really appropriate occasion -- good job. |

On the Edgeby KonadorComment: A good choice for this challenge, with the sign as the only foreground element, and the cool lights and clouds in the background.
The horizontal shape also lets the lights trail off into infinity on the right, reinforcing the pointing element of the sign. I wish you had a teeny bit more backround to the left of the sign; it looks a little crowded up against the left edge. |

Indian Toolby katlynComment: In "the old days" I might have had a chance to recognize where it came from. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment: Perfect amount of motion blur in your blind marchers. I don't know if that bit of bright background needs to be quite that bright, but overall tone range (into the deep blacks) is great. |
