Troyby MickComment: Nice lighting/coloring; good job dropping the background. On the "informal" side for a studio portrait, but Troy may be an informal guy ... |

Going to the Chapelby crabappl3Comment: If this is a set-up shot then, your model gets bonus points for capturing the expresion of anticipation (dread?) just before heading in ... |

The Soul of a Womanby librodoComment: I think this is a good use of contrasty, oblique lighting, even though on my monitor it's a teensy bit brighter than I might have made it. |

My Little Angelby briphotoComment: Very cute pose. Some of the lighter tones seem a bit "flattened" and maybe reddened, but that could also be my monitor or my eyes (I typically have trouble with red tones). |

Her eyesby MiinervaComment: Cool idea, comes off pretty well. I find the reflections in her right eye distracting -- either more indirect lighting, a better angle, or some careful cloning could reduce that. |

I can hear musicby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: I think I'd make a mask for the far background and blur the heck out of it (or fill with a gradient) so this would look more like a studio shot than a candid portrait. Great pose/expression. |

The Softer Side of Me...by aaronb532Comment: I'd like to know your motivation for the negative space ... it works OK but I don't immediately see the purpose of it. With the lighting and exposure you have, you could crop this in half and have a very nicely-rendered "typical" portrait -- maybe that's reason enough for the treatment you gave it. |

KIDS!by ChefbozComment: A clever take on the challenge, and you somehow seem to have gotten them to enjoy cooperating! |
