Not to mention the Triple-A club ... Andrew, Abraham, and Alexander (killed by the Double-A, Aaron).

The water is a great touch. I always have trouble with black type on red, so I'd like it a touch heavier for readability, but it works OK.

Just saw a great show about researching the Mitchell Standard -- not the porn fare -- the cameras used to shoot (among zillions of others) the original King Kong.

Thanks for one of the best batch of comments I've gotten in a long time. This was kind of a last-minute alternate idea when I realized I wasn't going to make it to any of the local chocolatiers ...

The father of my "best friend" from fourth grade through high school was the regional distributor for Lindt and ALL KINDS of other imported candies, and we were pretty familiar with the cupboard where the out-of-date sample stock ended up ... the gift and fancy food trade shows we went to were pretty awesome as well. : )

Part of me wants to see a helmet and wrist-guards, but they would definitely detract from the ambience. I'm usually a big fan of the square crop, but in this case a protrait crop might make the road look even longer and the unicycle higher. I like the idea and execution a lot!

Looks a little over sharpened to me, but an excellent choice for this challenge.

It's also handy to train them to use it in the other direction, but less suitable for photographing I suppose.

I think your point could be more emphasized by:

*Bring the toast and coffee closer to the foreground edge

*Turn the cup handle more towards the front, and perhaps add a spoon in the saucer with the handle facing the viewer

*Consider accentuating these effects by using a vertical crop/composition, so you can get those elements closer to the foreground

Right now, the toast and coffee look as much like they've been discarded by the reader as they are the breakfast of the viewer ... your title made me study the hands, to see if there were TWO people behind that "large" newspaper dining on something perhaps more satisfying than toast : )
