Sometimes a familiar idea can still be re-presented in a compelling and original way. I actually appreciate this one because it DOESN'T read as "ha ha" funny or like a cheap shot at a familiar professional/cultural trope. Both the level of capture and the clean processing decisions--the composition, the framing, the purity of the whites, etc.--all read as something that strikes that rare balance of tasteful and smartly humorous.

Obviously, this was among my top votes, too. ;-)

One of my challenge favorites. I'm assuming this was a phone capture, and it reminds me why Steven Soderbergh heartily embraced the iPhone as a serious go-to filmmaking camera for the unique angles and proximity it enabled for cinematic storytelling.

Probably my personal favorite in the challenge. This is such a beautiful abstract that I actually wish the title didn't immediately tell me what I'm seeing. Though I imagine you were smart to include the object in the title for the crowd here. :-D
